"Good students are the source and real treasure of all nations and good books are their real wealth during the period of academic formation" - Blessed Chavara
We, the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) after the example of our founder Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, consider education the integral formation of human person for the fulfillment of his/her individual and social responsibilities.
We aspire towards creating a just and human society where dignity of the human person is respected, where unjust social structures are challenged, where our cultural heritage, religious harmony and national integration is upheld and where the poor and the marginalized are specially taken care of.
Our educational endeavours aim at forming leaders who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable; who will champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace and who are ever open to further growth.
The school aims not merely at preparing its pupils for the different examinations but also developing their character and personality through graded responsibility, personal guidance and social awareness, thus forming them into leaders in the intellectual and civil life of the country.
With this end in view, and guided by the Christian principles, the school makes a careful selection of the students who apply, and demands from them high standards in ideals and attainments.
